Why the strip appears
At the foot of every page you will see a narrow dark strip describing this notice and offering a single button labelled Acknowledge. The strip is built entirely with styling rules; it carries no executable logic and no tracking logic. When you select the button, the strip is hidden for the page you are reading by styling that runs inside your browser.
What is stored
Nothing is stored. Dismissing the strip writes no cookie, no local storage entry and no identifier, and it sends nothing to any server. There is no sequence number and no timestamp that could be correlated with anything else.

What we do not do
We set no advertising identifier. We run no cross-site measurement. We do not embed resources from other domains, which means no third party can observe your visit through this site.
Managing preferences
Because no cookie is written, there is nothing here for you to manage. Your browser's own cookie settings remain entirely under your control and have no effect on any page of this desk. Opening another page shows the strip again, since its dismissal is limited to the page in front of you.
